Fruve Uganda is a local private partnership firm based in Uganda, East Africa, dealing in the natural growing and export of tropical fresh fruits and vegetables.
The Firm employs a number of qualified technical personnel to advise, support and guide over one hundred contracted rural smallholder farmers (many of which are women and socially disadvantaged), with methods and techniques of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) /sustainable farming. FSMS is in place to ensure quality of produce and safety of consumers.
Objective:

Unique Climate:
Uganda has a wide range of conditions from flat dry plains to lush hill sides, ample water for irrigation from rivers and lakes, natural fertile soils which have not been degraded by intensive farming and fertilizer use, suitable for natural tropical fruits and vegetables production of high yields and excellent quality.
Tropical Fresh Produce:
The wide range of tropical fruits and vegetables available from our farms /contracted farmers, the increasing supply of exotic fruits and the spread of picking season, provides importers with a secure source of the freshest produce, in the right varieties and with continuity of supply.
The impeccable farm fresh hand picked produce is chosen from the best of our natural growers, graded and packed at the peak of freshness to reach our customers in perfect condition. Our main products for fresh export are; Pineapples (Smooth cayenne & Natal queen), Avocado, Passion fruit (Hybrid big purple), Bananas (Apple, Matooke, sweet Gros-michel & Plantain), Papaya, Mangoes, Sugarcane, Fresh Beans, Ginger, Pumpkin and Sweet potato.
New Business Opportunities:
Fruve Uganda is still in its early stages of developing natural fresh produce business. There good opportunities for investment in production and processing of fresh fruits and vegetables. We are therefore looking for marketing co-operation with overseas partners particularly those who can provide new market opportunities and new products development. Read more
